We are going to be open extended hours during the Holiday Season. Our hours will be 10 - 6, 7 days a week until Christmas. Then we are going to be CLOSED Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Years Day. After Christmas Day, we will be returning to our regular hours of 10—4, 7 days a week.
January 17th—Our destination this month is still a mystery. Who knows which corner of the world we will visit.
Matt's Rag Quilt Class:
Do you want to quilt but just don’t know where to start. Our Teen Quilting Superstar—Matt Quigley will be able to help you through your 1st Rag Quilt. You will learn the basics of selecting the right fabric, cutting tool safety, using rulers, cutting fabric, basic stitches for putting the quilt together and finishing your quilt. Individual, 6 hour lessons are available $45.00 plus fabric. Just call or e-mail and schedule a time that works for you!
CRAZY QUILTING BLOCK:
Have you ever wondered how all of those CRAZY blocks come together? Crazy Quilting is considered one of the earliest forms of REAL American quilting. Come and learn the fundamentals of block construction and embellishment. Your finished block can then be used in a bag, pillow or the start of a great quilt. Taught by Jenni Christensen of the Covington Quilt Guild. $35.00 Saturday, December 12th, 10—2.

Laura Denison has made original patterns to make these fun and easy quilted bags, totes, purses and pouches. These bags are simple to piece and you can’t seem to make just one! Girls Night Out with Roxanne Carter:
Wonderful things await us when Roxanne is here for a “Girls Day Out” 10—4 Saturday, January 23rd, June 5th and October 2nd. $40 plus materials...you will truly be inspired! Work on any of the Roxanne Carter patterns.
Darlene Girton’s "Machine Quilting for Beginners”:
You too can machine quilt! That's right ladies, install your darning foot, drop those feed dogs and see what you and your sewing machine can do. We will cover the basics of starting and stopping stitch lines, gain confidence in stitch-in-the-ditch quilting with a walking foot, and an introduction to free motion quilting. A fun time to be had by all! This 2 part class will be held January 30th and February 6th, 10—2, $50.00. Book required for class. Other materials will be provided.
Darlene Girton's "Machine Quilting for Beyond Beginners”:
This class is the next installment of Darlene’s quilting techniques. That's right ladies, install your darning foot, drop those feed dogs and see what you and your sewing machine can do. Building from the techiques of the Beginning class, where the introduction to free motion quilting was started, this class will continue to build your confidence and expand your capabilities. Bring a finished top (lap size or smaller) so you can design your own quilting format, "Let the quilt speak to you:. A fun time to be had by all! February 13th, 10 - 2, $40,00 plus class book.
