This is the 1st e-news from Taylor Creek Quilt Studio.
We are pleased to have the opportunity to serve you.
The following are classes that coming up that start in January and February.
If there is an instructor that you would like to see teach at Taylor Creek, please let us know.
One of the upcoming classes will be with Joyce Becker (May or June date to be determined).
If you aren’t familiar with Joyce’s quilting, she is a great landscape artist, teacher and author and hails from the Puget Sound area.
Some of these classes are filling up fast!
Benni Harper’s Adventure: (4 Patterns are included in each class session fee, a $96.00 value!)
Kathy Scott has made a wonderful pattern and will be teaching this 3 part class.
Saturday: January 26, 2008, February 23 and March 22nd 10-Noon.
Putting the pieces together: April 26th (No class fee)
$40.00 per session ($120)
In The Bag: Laura Denison has made original patterns to make these fun and easy quilted bags, totes, purses and pouches.
These bags are simple to piece and you can’t seem to make just one!
This is a 2 part class.
Sunday: February 10 and February 24, hours are from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, $45.00.
Making Connections: Taught by Joanne Lee, this quilt works up quickly with 5 basic blocks.
Sunday: January 13, 27 and February 3, 2008, hours are from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Pattern and tool additional
$45.00.
Mariner’s Compass Block of the Month: (this class only has a few spots left!)
Using Brenda Henning’s book and CD, Learn how to piece those skinny spikes with surprising ease and accuracy using paper foundations.
Laura Denison will be teaching this class.
3rd Monday of the month for 6 months (January-June) 6-9 P.M. $25.00 each session or $125.00 for all 6 (save $25.00).
Stained Glass Quilts: Laura Denison will be teaching this class with the methods of learning the basics of how to create a "Stained Glass" Quilt.
The look of these quilts are impressive!
Saturday: January 12 10-4 p.m. $35.00.
