Happy 4th!
We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far.
The 4th of July is just around the corner, and with any luck we will have some nice weather.
For those of you outside the Puget Sound Area, we hope that all is well with you too as many of you are having to deal with flooding and tornados.
In honor of the 4th, we will be closed both Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th to spend some time with our family.
We will be open again our regular hours on the 5th at 10:00 a.m.
The Covington Quilt Guild will be hosting its annual show on the 25th, 26th and 27th of July at the Cedar Heights Middle School in Covington, Washington.
There will be Judged quilts, Vendors, Bed-turning, Demos, Door Prizes and Refreshments in the Tea Room.
I will be assisting those 3 days in the mornings at the show, but Amanda will be in the shop to assist you.
Hanging in the shop is a quilt that I have done the is being raffled off by the Puget Sound Siberian Husky Club.
Tickets are available at the shop for $1.00 each.
The drawing will be held August 15th. Proceeds go towards Public Education and Rescue.
I still have Covington Quilt Guild raffle tickets as well.
They are also $1.00 each.
The drawing for this reproduction Civil War, hand quilted quilt (and it is huge) will be July 27th at the quilt show.
