Happy Holidays!
This time of year we tend to get so busy that we forget what we are supposed to be thankful for. I, for one, know from 1st hand experience that time just seems to slip away. This fall has been no exception with having been critically ill in September and October. I am still working on getting better so I can have the surgery needed to return to work full time.
So I can truly say that I am Thankful for better health, the support of my 2 sisters that came to stay with Amanda and Matt while I was hospitalized, and for the support of my fellow quilting “Sisters” that stepped up to keep the shop open while I recover.
Those individuals are by now familiar faces to you...Pat Bradshaw, Darlene Girton, Jenni Gould and Linda Olson and my daughter Amanda that worked every weekend this fall.
Onto bigger and better things:
With the Holiday Season here, we are making some schedule changes:
- The week of Thanksgiving, we will be open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be closed Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th.
- The week of Christmas and New Years, we will be closed December 24th and 25th and again December 31st and January 1st. Those weeks we will be open on the Mondays and Tuesdays before the Holiday.
- All other weeks, we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays until after my surgery.
More merchandise continues to come in...stop by to check it out.
Classes and Open Sew workshops will start up again in the New Year...keep posted for dates and times. Remember if there is a class or instructor you would like to have at the shop, let us know.
If there is a tool or notion that you don’t see in the shop, just ask! We can probably order it for you.
All fall fabrics are 10% of regular pricing through the month of November.
And Shop Hop fabric samples are available to view (on paper only) for the 2009 Shop Hop. Come by and check it out. We can start taking orders for how much fabric you would like to have.
Reminders for those loved ones shopping for you...Gift Certificates are available in any denomination.
Have a happy and safe holiday,
And remember, "Quilter’s Bind a Community Together!"
Sincerely,
Joanne Lee
