Happy Fall!
We hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and now that the kids are back in school, it’s time to pick up those projects that have hanging around and get them done this fall. Need just the right piece of fabric? Lots of new fabrics have arrived over the last several weeks. It might just be the right inspiration to get back to the sewing room...No space! No time?...No problem...check out one of our classes or open sews to help get those projects done...

Open Sew Dates for September and October 2008: Sunday September 7th, 14th and 28th, October 5th and 19th from 10-4 and Monday September 8th, 15th, 29th , October 6th and 20th from 6-9 and every Thursday from 10-2.
FALL’S FEATURED CLASSES 2008
The Ins and Outs of Log Cabin: Laura Denison’s Woven Log Cabin Quilt is truly a work of art. Come join us for this 2-day class on September 5th and 12th, Friday evening 6-9. If you like the look of weaving, then this is the quilt for you! $45.00 Pattern and materials additional.
Travel the World: Join us on our adventures around the world with Laura Denison’s Passport Series. Ghana (Story Teller) will be the destination. This class will be held September 21st, Time: Noon-4 pm. $35.00 per session. Patterns, materials and tools additional as needed.
One Block Wonder: A Perfect class for using those fabrics with large scale or 24/12" repeats. No two quilts will look the same and neither will two blocks. Saturday, September 13th 10:30-3:30 $40.00 Pattern additional.
The Little Geisha Girl WITH TERRI NUSSBAUM: This is a great 3 session class. September 16th (Tuesday) September 24th (Wednesday) and October 8th (Wednesday) This is an evening class, 6-9 Cost: $55.00 plus materials Pattern Provided. "The Little Geisha Girl is surrounded by fans& pretty little spring time flowers. Learn a fun and easy way to paper foundation piece. The fans are sewn with a machine appliqué method, so this is all short cut methods here. Fun, Cute and Easy, what more could we ask for!" 4 people minimum for this class to be offered.
More Little Landscapes: Joyce Becker will be joining us again for another installment of her wonderful landscape techniques. If you wanted to learn how to landscape or finish your project from our May class, this is for you. Class will be held on Saturday, September 20th 10 -4. $60.00 CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED T0 10 STUDENTS!!!!
IN THE BAG: Laura Denison has made original patterns to make these fun and easy quilted bags, totes, purses and pouches. These bags are simple to piece and you can’t seem to make just one! This is a 2 part class. Friday 6-9 October 10th and October 17th. Pattern and materials additional. $45.00
