Morningstar Suzu Chousei Sou ~ "Suzu"
Suzu came to us from the East Coast very very frightened, untrained and thin. We picked her up at the Sacramento airport for Joni Morningstar, as a favor. We took her home and fell in love with her. After considerable TLC, we could see the qualities she had. We were to lease another bitch from Joni at the time. Joni asked are you sure you want her, and all we could say was YES!
At Suzu's first show, she won RWB. Then on May 2008 we picked up a 5 point major with Suzu. Soon after that win she blew coat and we decided to breed her. We OFA'd her (excellent) and did all the other necessary testing. On February 4, 2009, Suzu was returned to her breeder and we were guaranteed she would remain there. We wanted to keep her forever, but that was not an option granted by Joni; after all, we leased Suzu for one year.
Suzu left her mark here at Des-Mar, by giving us a wonderful male named Des-Mar's Hachiko (15 points, looking for last Major) and his sister, Des-Mar's Nordicsun Cristal.
Although we adhere to a strict 'No Pets' policy here at Des-Mar, Suzu is always welcome to return to our home under any circumstances. She is a part of our hearts, dearly loved and sadly missed. Suzu, we miss you dearly.
